“"My mother-in-law was at the place where she was unable to get in a car to go to the doctor. The hospice nurse came in and visited her every week. They informed the family of her condition, her needs and what to expect at this time in her life. They supplied her needs with dignity and respect for the family."
“To the entire Heartstrings Hospice, I am writing to commend you for the excellent service that you and your staff were able to provide to my family and I during our time of loss. Though death is an inevitable part of life, I will say that we are never ever really prepared to say goodbye to a loved one. You all were able to support us in ways that I could not have imagined. Though my mother was unable to recover from this last stroke, when she came home I know that she was at peace. For you all to have been there for me and my family during those times is worth more than one can put into words. From the beginning to the end of the entire process, you all have been supportive every step of the way. Your level of professionalism is outstanding and beyond anything that I could have ever expected.
“Dear Friends, You were so wonderful to Gus and to me and made a difficult time so much better for both of us. I thank God for you and will always remember each of you.
“Dear Hospice Team, Thank you so very much for the care you provided. To be so sensitive and in tune with Lew was such a blessing. The family will be forever grateful for everything. With heartfelt gratitude, we truly appreciate your kindness and just being there.

God put some of the most beautiful and caring people in our lives when he sent our Daddy to Heartstrings. Each of you came into Daddy’s home with compassion and concern for Daddy and our family. “My Dear Friends,
I would like to personally thank you all for love and support you showed my mother. I could say so many things, but I will keep my thank you’s brief, yet heartfelt. LPN, I could not have made it that last day without you! You stayed with us that last day and we appreciate all the support, laughter and crying we did together. CNA, my mother loved you so and I would like to thank you for all the gentle kindness you showed her! RN, Thank you for allowing us to believe we could call you night and day and answering all of our crazy questions and mostly for putting up with our father. You deserve a medal! Chaplain, thank you for the love and kind words you shared and that wonderful red velvet cake. On-Call RN, was our angel to the end of the journey with mom. Thank you! You are all very special people that made a very hard situation much more bearable because we knew we were not alone! You will always have a special place in my heart! May God bless each and every one of you!
“ I could never say enough good things about Heartstrings Hospice; they are the most caring, compassionate group of people. The professionalism of the nurses and staff show how they treat the patients with not only empathy and kindness, but as if they were caring for their own family member. They approach the challenges that every patient and their immediate family face when dealing with life changing diagnoses, as a whole picture not just the patient's illness. We know that they have taken great care of my father-in-law while battling his terminal and progressing prostate cancer, but when my mother-in-law, whom is the immediate caregiver, became ill herself and had to be hospitalized your staff went above and beyond to assist with making sure that my father-in-law was okay. They made extra trips to check on him and to make sure that his stand-in caregiver understood about his medications and routine. They also checked on how my mother-in-law's status was and if she was getting better. What more could I say? Thank you and it means a lot to our family that they have been there for us, all of us."
